I haven't had sushi in half a year :(

I know it's weird, but I kind of don't trust anyone to prepare it in the age of Covid. Then again, the last couple of sushi meals I'd had before Covid didn't do much for me either (I didn't get sick or anything, but I felt kind of meh).

... yeah, I'm not sure of the logic there. I'd understand not wanting to go to dodgy sushi places where the person preparing it isn't actually a trained chef, but that's true whether there's a pandemic on or not. And IIRC there doesn't seem to be any evidence that COVID is food-borne.

LOL, same.

I'm with you, OP. I saw the first season of the new Unsolved Mysteries and wondered what the point was? It's just like some other crime show now :(.
I also prefer the old format. Robert Stack was incredible so they don't necessarily need a new host (Dennis Farina was fine), but mixing up the storylines within the same episode with a lot of variety (from crime, to paranormal, to missing family) made it different and fun.
Now, it's not particularly different than many other shows.

I appreciate that they tried and that they didn't try to bring in a new host but... it wasn't really Unsolved Mysteries. I miss the quirky variety.
