I've had writer's block since the pandemic started, but all day today I've been on a roll drafting a new story. It's coming to me so much easier now!

I got a new fan. My room doesn't feel like a hotbox anymore, so that's cool.

There's an event going on in a this new app I'm obsessed with. (A3, I LOVE it) I saved up for the event gacha cards for a long time, got extremely lucky with the draws and for the first time ever I'm like in ranking position, (0.6% when usually Im at the 12-15% mark) and I am so excited!!
People usually pay big bucks to get this high, and a new selection of characters are coming out too so they're probably saving up for that, but I'm so happy all my saving and timers, and effort is actually paying off in a big way!
By the way it's going I might even end in T1, which is absolutely ridiculous and so much fun! <333

This is a small thing, but my favorite nail polish strip company released their new fall collection today. It was fun to look at, I liked about a half dozen of the new shades/patterns and was able to pre-order them this afternoon. I'm looking forward to receiving them.

Ooh, I love me some nail polish. I've been switching colors every week during quarantine. :D

Not just this week, but...the one good thing to come out of quarantine is that I've lost a bunch of weight. Even though I'm also stressed out now, it's a different kind of stress from when I was working and for whatever reason, the desire to constantly eat to distract myself from it has just gone away. I also think that planning out my meals in advance (because I only go grocery shopping every week and a half or so now) has helped, too. I used to go at least a couple times a week and never planned anything, just grabbed whatever sounded good at the time.

I switched to shopping online and have a better diet and bank balance. The impulse buys really get you. Lol.

I wrote a sex scene I don't hate.

My three air plants are growing bigger.

Not really a thing 'going on in my life', but I saw these boots online today, and they are so fucking *cute* and bright and happy-looking, and happy making.

I think I'm gonna tell everyone who wants to buy me an Xmas present (probably four people) to just chip in and buy me these.

New pair of comfy slippers.

I've been coming to terms with a lot of personal stuff lately and it feels as though I'm gaining some maturity points so that's something. They were hard lessons to learn but if I can just keep certain things in mind, I might end up stronger for it after all is said and done.
