Out of curiosity, what attracted you to the idea of writing a Regency AU in the first place?

I like reading them! And I like that I can drag out the romance because it's not socially acceptable for them to just jump in the sack.

I had the thought that I'd like to read that AU for this pairing but the main character isn't really a Mr Darcy type, he's more like Mr Wickham and my brain went "do it".
