If I'm this joyless when it comes to fandom when I'm in my 40s-50's then I promise you, I'll leave.

So many people here spend a very concerning amount of time complaining about other people have fun.
I get that it's a space to vent but it really seems like a lot of people here are just incredibly incompatible with mainstream fandom and refuse to accept that the fandom period you lived is dead now.
If you have no inclination to do anything except complain and pull down the people who are having fun out of entitled jealousy, then this is probably the best time to quit.

Because doing the sensible curation tactic only works if you stick to it and my god, it's apparent that some of you are looking at these things on purpose to upset yourselves.

JFC. This is fandom secrets. Of course people come here to express their frustrations. The things people say here are not an accurate representation of their overall feelings or demeanor. How do you not get that? Are you really as young and silly as the other anons are accusing you of being?

And then here you come, butthurt that people are using fandom secrets to express their frustrations. Here you are, embodying the exact type of "Positivity only; I will misconstrue all expressions of negativity as being an attack on me personally" attitude that a lot of us adults have come to expect from modern fandom and are tiredly rolling our eyes at. It's funny, but it's also kind of sad.
