Welcome to bisexuality.
If you flexible or fluid, you're bisexual or bi-curious. Bisexual people can lean mostly towards one side and only find a handful of the other side (or even just one) attractive, and you still can't logically claim you're 100% straight or 100% gay.
I always thought most people were bisexual, anyway. Calling yourself straight or gay is just so . . . well, "Heil!" Most people don't fit that strict definition of gay or straight.
Re: 139
Sexuality isn't logical or an either/or basis, it's more complex than that. Only the individual can be sure if his/her own sexuality, and wouldn't consider him/herself bisexual or anything else.
Re: 139
No one is attracted to everybody on the planet, so yes, even one person counts in my opinion.
And you're repeating what I said: sexuality is very complicated.

Omg, accidental anonymous post!
Re: 139
People can identify as they choose, for a variety of complex reasons. I know women who identify as lesbians even though they're technically bisexual, because for reasons OTHER than sexual attraction, they are not ever interested in a relationship with a man.
Also, it's really condescending of people in this thread to speak as if all the people who aren't calling themselves bisexual don't KNOW exactly how their sexuality works. Some people might be a bit clueless or confused, but other people identify themselves as they see fit with full awareness of their own sexuality.
(And I AM bisexual, thank you.)
Re: 139
Taking that in account, I do respect anyone's wishes to refer to themselves however they want. It doesn't change the fact that, technically, they're incorrect labeling themselves as such. But they have a fundamental right to call themselves whatever they see fit.
But I don't like labels, as I said.
And I'm bisexual, too. ;)

Re: 139
Oh, that's just FABULOUS. Are you one of those people who also thinks that transsexuals aren't the gender they say they are, because, "just saying it doesn't make it true," despite whatever neurobiological evidence there might be to the contrary?
Sexuality. It doesn't have set, immutable properties for many people, and therefore any labels they are going to put on themselves are going to be filtered through - gasp! - the greater whole of their experiences and values.
AND IT'S NOT AN OBJECT. Nor is it comparable to one.
Why this isn't obvious, I don't know.
