LOL. We like Ruby 2.0 more, we MUST be horrible fans, right?

This time last year, if we'd liked Katie's Ruby, we'd have been shit fans then, too. And when they get rid of Gen (which they must, since she got groiny with Sam, lol), everyone's gonna love her and talk about how much they loved her when she was on the show. *shrugs* I dunno, I just like her. She might not be the best actress, but neither was Katie.

You do have a point there. I think I really liked Ruby's character in general pretty much from the start, except in 'The Magnificent Seven', but only because we had no clue who she was yet, I just totally have the hots for Gen. :]

She was definitely a more interesting character before Lilith sent her back to hell. I'd love to see them write in some of that old snarkiness and see it coming out of Gen's mouth. She is ridiculously hot. Did you watch her on Wildfire?

I would LOVE to see Gen all snarky as Ruby. I, uh, missed on on Wildfire the first time around, but I got it for a Secret Santa present from

hohohos, and I started watching it, but the second disc skips, so I'm getting a new copy from Amazon, and then I will be able to watch the rest of it.

Ok, so you know Nicole from Wildfire (Dani)? She tried out for Ruby, too. So I'm hoping that if they DO decide to get rid of poor Gen, maybe they'll bring in Nicole.

You're definitely not the only one. I'm not involved enough in fandom to feel OPPRESHUN or anything, but it's just weird to me because I don't know why. Like, she's not a great actress and she actually bored me all the way up until 4.09. And if I think critically about her character, she's not that well-written (she's okay, but it's a bit shaky at times).

But.

She's growing on me so much. AND I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT EVEN TO MYSELF AUGH. The best reason I can come up with is that I think she's helping develop Sam's character, but even that isn't totally accurate because I'm kinda interested in her as a character by herself, too al;djf;skjf OTL.

Totally agree, on all points. I know she isn't that great an actress, but I'm totally wanting to see more of her, especially since 4.09. Let's hope they actually develop her character a bit!
