I've said it before and I'll say it again - it honestly mystifies me that anyone plays the default Sims, or the default houses. idk if that means you're in good company anon (as in, most people who own the game play their own custom characters or spend all their time building cool houses ) or if we're the outlyers and there's a whole world of people who legit play the Sims as-is without ever doing any customizing.

Does it really matter if people play the default Sims when they basically become original Sims after two generations anyway.

My experience with players weigh more to online where interest runs to custom or fandom characters and always custom houses but I've seen people pretty attached to the Goth family or the Strangetown Sims 2 characters which surprised me! I've never done more than check out the house of a default Sim household.

I tried planning out a legacy challenge but I don't know if it's me or the game, I just can't commit to playing out a life anymore even if I cheat like hell to avoid the boring grind.
