Who's permanently deprived of anything when someone pulls their own spin on a legend?

Says the whitey mcwhitebread

The wendigo is from a still active and discriminated against people. Like, these people live largely on reservations where they're treated like absolute shit, and their missing persons cases are treated with less seriousness than a white kid's. But oh noes, a white person can't put their own spin on a religion symbol!

Ill Omened indeed.

I get that bolding a sentence is stunning and powerful (not to mention brave).

But aside from not answering the question, how do you think anything that you mentioned is impacted in the slightest by someone having their own take on the wendigo?

You think that suddenly if people don't use the myth those issues with the trail of tears or whatever is suddenly going to stop? Run me through the chain of thought here, without having to go off into vague posturing.

What part of "those things are still happening today" is so hard for your stupid racist shitbrain to understand? Or are you too busy sucking Zimmerman's dick?
