106: Nice to see the gross generalizing and assumption making flows both ways. Listen up people, liking Wincest does not make you a pervert or a real life incest supporter. Not liking Wincest does not make you weird, nor does it mean you don't 'see the show right' (as I've been accused of). It simply means we have different interpretations. As much as I dislike Wincest I think I hate the people who fight about it more. Get over it. If you like it, like it. If you don't, don't. And leave it the fuck alone for fucks sake. Are we going to have to become the Lost fandom and segregate Wincesters and Ant-Wincesters the way they segregate Jaters and Skaters? Really fandom?

150: I can't believe I read that whole thing. But I did, so here's my thoughts on the subject. I've been in the situation where fandom has lessened my enjoyment of something. In that scenario, I removed myself from the fandom and went back to enjoying the show. If the fandom bothers you that much, leave it. You can't make them conform to your wishes for how they should behave, so just get out and move on.

THIS. I'm so sick of the anti-Wincesters and the Wincesters bitching about this crap. Almost as sick as I am about the Jared vs. Jensen garbage. We're all watching a show that's lucky to still be airing, and fawning after C-list celebrities who are going to be lucky to have any form of lasting careers beyond shitty remakes of horror flicks and bit parts in obscure movies that never see the light of day. Banding together might be a little bit smarter than the non-stop pointless bickering.

Ugh. I hate wincest fans who do that. WAY TO MAKE OUR SIDE LOOK BAD, GUYS. :/ As much as I love wincest, wincest =/= canon, and it never will. Saying "OMG did you see the slashiness in [whatever scene]? Wincest is so canon!" to other wincest fans is one thing, telling non-wincesters that they're not watching the show properly is another. *facepalms* Honestly, if either side can be accused of not watching canon properly, it's ours; I just don't think that matters as long as we enjoy it.
