Self-publishing web comics doesn't seem to be a career that lends itself well to rigorous project management, given how many artists either start missing deadlines because they're doing it for pennies, start missing deadlines because they're getting ad revenue no matter what, or miss deadlines and abandon the project because they finally landed storyboarding gigs or book contracts.
