(Anonymous) 2020-09-19 01:43 am (UTC)(link)Realistically, no one is going to twig if a particular jingle aired in 1995 (and I say this as someone who trawled through old soap episode synopses to figure out which would airing on a particular date so KNOW it's not as easy as someone saying "no one will notice").
As long as you get the broad sweeps right, few people (except from assholes who are probably looking for a reason to complain) are likely to mention even remotely little things - it sounds like you've got the obvious, jarring things like mom/mum; sidewalk/pavement; faucet/tap down, and things like settee/couch can vary from house to house even in a particular street (as I know from growing up!).
Give yourself a break, it sounds like you've done the work. As others have said, if you're still anxious, find yourself a Britpicker so you can get direct feedback before stuff goes public. But it sounds like you're doing good, OP.
