(Anonymous) 2020-09-19 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)Honestly, though, as I said elsewhere above, if he does lose in November, I guarantee there'll be a shitton of stuff coming out afterwards detailing just how corrupt and compromised he and his administration were, both with all this Russia stuff and otherwise. So in that case, I'd love it if the Democrats were able to argue that given those kinds of extraordinary circumstances, their appointees therefore don't count as legitimate, and thus should all be removed so that we can start anew and remove any traces of the damage Trump's inflicted on this country.
Granted, that'd be one hell of a nuclear option to take here, and not a very likely one, but hell, the GOP has no problem playing hardball like this. I think it's time we do the same. Why should we have to honor and allow anything coming out of this administration to stand?
