In the 1980s, Roald Dahl wrote an essay in the New Statesman which said: "There is a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity”, he said. “I mean, there’s always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn’t just pick on them for no reason.”

He was also quite an unpleasant man in general.

I don't believe he was Harvey Weinstein level but he was definitely of that generation of men who didn't care how he got it, he wanted it.
