Yeah, I love studying the henry-wives but I have zero interest in this show because literally everything I've seen and heard about it tells me that it's just le edgy theater-fanfic that tries so hard to be ~*~woke~*~ and rawr-grrrl-power that all the "six" are essentially modern-AU OCs who have nothing but their names in common with the real women or their real lives and the world in which they lived. To which I say a hearty "boo wendy testaburger."

Am I the only one who finds it more empowering to watch stuff about how women managed to be strong within their own historical or cultural settings?
