I am Asexual. I am hugely sex-repulsed no matter what time of day.
Still, I cannot fathom how someone can feel ostracized in a situation they put themselves into. I may be unique by my standards, but when you thirst after a character you are then attracted to them. You have no right to then be appalled by others (infinitely more common) opinions just because you don't feel like it the day the decide to reblog your comment. Using your 'ace-spectrum' narrative to be the reason your opinion that this fluff idea of yours shouldn't be taken any further is ridiculous and vaguely insulting.
Think of it as fanfic, or as a kinkmeme prompt, a good idea is going to be used no matter if it suits your fancy.

I've seen a lot of opinions harshing on anything they can because of sexuality. It's nonsensical by a large margin, infinitely in fandom. Leave your baggage at the door and enjoy it for what it is.
