yeah I'm somewhere on the aro-ace spectrum myself, still figuring all of that out, and I tend to write more fluffy romance without sex. I did write sex briefly at a friend's encouragement but it felt so formulaic after awhile. The pandemic's only seemed to make this worse, with people acting horny all the time.
