113. Well, I fucking loved it, but then again, I really love Keanu Reeves and think he's completely underrated. I don't care what anyone says about him, I think he's a BRILLIANT actor. One doesn't have to make a zillion facial expressions to get one's point across, IMO. I'm a real person, and I don't show all of everything I'm thinking at any given moment. If that makes me a robot, then I guess I can understand the Keanu hate. Um. I went vaguely off topic, sorry OP. YOU'RE NOT ALONE was my actual point, lol.

125. What bothers me is the assumption that Jared girls (like me) are also Sam girls (which I am not). I know that's so completely not your point, but I wish there were more people out there who get that loving Jared does NOT mean you love Sam. I actually really dislike Sam, and LOVE Dean like woah. Like WOAH, I TELL YOU. *snorts*

157. Oh, no no no, Dawson's too creepy. He'd lock Joey up and force her to watch his shitty movies and drug Pacey in order to keep him from laughing at Dawson's tiny ding-dong... DNW.

Keanu does subtle emotions like wonder and irritation very well - better than most actors in his age category, IMHO - but he doesn't do big emotions like grief well, and he does non-internalized anger very poorly. Unfortunately, anger is one thing that most films in the action and SF genres ask a hero to do pretty much consistently. I thought this was brilliant casting, myself, although due to family drama and other stuff getting in the way, I haven't gotten to see the movie.

I see what you're saying (also, I love your icon so very much!), but I know some people who don't show much emotion even when they're infuriated. It boggles me, because when I'm pissed, people know it, lol, but I can see it when he shows it, if only because I've seen it in real life, if that makes sense without sounding all, "OMG ONLY I KNOW KEANU REEVES" stalker-ish. I don't think he's the best actor out there, don't get me wrong. I wouldn't put him in my top ten, but I'm a little sad when people write him off completely. (Although, yeah, he does do this type of role better than others.)

Hope your family stuff isn't serious, and I hope you love the movie as much as I did.
