Er, a House of Leaves secret, that is. For some reason I thought your post said "not enough HoL secrets" until I reread it just now.

McCain didn't personally want to overturn Roe v. Wade and what does 8 houses have to do with anything?

He said during one of the debates (I believe the last one?) that he didn't agree with Roe v. Wade and that it needed to be reevaluated. Unless he was possessed at the time, that was him personally wanting to fuck around with abortion rights.

As for 8 houses, you figure it out. I don't want the greedy fat kid at the table handling my country.

Yes, he said that. He said a lot of things that are departures from his usual and unpressured stance, which just means that he has neither convinction nor a spine, but I personally don't attribute him to being anti-abortion.

You could say that he's not anti-abortion... I mean, at least he's not Palin, who doesn't even support it in cases of rape/incest. But I personally define "anti-abortion" as anyone who wants to restrict abortions and thinks of unborn fetuses as children.

So basically, he voted against abortion whenever it was time for a federal election? that's how this reads.

Even if he did secretly support abortion any other time of year, which I seriously doubt, it essentially means shit to me. I'm not okay with him being for it secretly deep down in his heart if he votes against it constantly.

it's an adaptation of the count of monte cristo. i'm pretty sure that's what op was going for - not the generic back-to-back pose.

All I could think of it when I saw it was a specific piece of Boogiepop art where the inside of his/her cape uses that same cosmic-decoration style.

oh. gotcha~

the whole show has textures and moving patterns instead of solid colors for clothes, hair, etc., and the inside of the count's cape is a trip.

That sounds like it'd either be really awesome or really annoying.

gankutsuou is my favorite anime ever, so i have to go with awesome. xD it takes a little getting used to, but it's so beautiful.

(also, my favorite series. it needs more not!movie fandom. ♥)

I didn't even know anyone but me even liked the movie. No one on the forums I visit seems to, anyway.

were it not called 'silent hill', it'd easily stack up on my favorites list. the visuals were fantastic, and the writing was really good, in my opinion. it was a good movie in itself.

but since they decided to tack 'silent hill' on it, and they did butcher the storyline of the first game, i can't really rank it high on principle. :[
