lol this was me in the middle of the lockdown a couple of months ago; I was going through every kind of christamas/holiday tags in a couple of my fandoms.

Word, anon. I recently spent an afternoon searching every tag I could think of for a specific Halloween-themed fic I read years ago and thought was good but kinda sappy and cheesy. I bookmarked it and have read it twice since, pretty much for the same reasons you describe here.

I've been noticing published authors promoting their holiday stories out of season a lot during the pandemic. You aren't the only one who wants that kind of happy place right now.
