I'll rewatch TOS, TNG and DS9, but the rest is dead to me at this point.

Curious about why VOY isn't in the list? I don't mean that snarkily at all, I'm wondering because I do rewatch it too but it is the one I go back to the least, and I can't quite put my finger on why.

AYRT When Voyager was first on the air I was mad about it. Like obsessed raving fangirl. Now I can't rewatch it without cringing at the memories! So it's not a slight on Voyager. :)

nayrt

VOY is like space NCIS.

AYRT Sorry I kinda blanked on the last part of your comment there. Yeah Voyager was definitely the weakest. I think it was a cast thing. They had some weaker characters and some stronger characters, and the writers kinda abandoned the weaker characters altogether and went nuts on storylines for the stronger ones. It made it very uneven and much less of an ensemble show, which for me at least is a key part of Star Trek.

DA

Weirdly I actually think you are right and yet Voyager is still one of my favorites simply because the stronger characters are among my favorite Star Trek characters. The stronger characters (the women mostly plus the Doctor) are good enough to outweigh the flaws of the weaker characters and the weaker writing for them for me. Janeway is my favorite captain, and she, Seven, B'lanna, and the Doctor all make my top ten favorite Trek characters easy.

It helps that Voyager is the one I grew up watching with my dad as a kid, so it has sentimental value.

TOS and DS9 are my solid rewatches. I'll watch selected episodes of ENT (the Andorian/Vulcan ones, mostly), and once in a blue moon an episode from TNG or VOY. Which is slightly weird now that I think about it, because those two were my introductory series. Although maybe it makes sense, because they were the ones I watched like once a week or so on my gran's telly when I happened to catch them, while TOS and DS9 I had to actually buy DVDs and make a concerted decision to watch. So I have more fondness and mental energy invested in TOS & DS9.

For ENT, I have no explanation beyond the fact that I love Shran.

Shran is awesome, okay. There's not a lot of ENT episodes I like but they're almost all in the fourth season and most of them have that blue asshole.
