I'm pretty sure my thing for shipping villains with each other goes back to the Harry Potter fandom. While everyone was shipping the heroes, I was busy obsessing over Lucius and Narcissa's relationship and imagining that as awful and prejudiced as they were they were still great as a couple. And also imagining that Voldemort and Bellatrix were secretly banging behind closed doors. Villains are just so much more interesting to imagine in relationships.

I really enjoy Lucius and Narcissa too! I mean, you can play with them so many different ways depending on how much of a badass do you make Narcissa and is Lucius really a cold unfeeling arse.

Usually, to me it's background Draniome sooo... drama.

See, because I think Narcissa is a badass, I don't think she'd put up with crap from Lucius if he tried that. So I firmly believe they were totally in love. She wasn't as prejudiced as him or at least didn't believe enough to want to join the Death Eaters, but she stood by him anyway. But they were firmly a couple.

And I also think that Draco acted spoiled, not abused, so I actually think they were the type of rich parents who completely doted on their only child and gave him everything he ever wanted and never told him no. It was only later, after Voldemort came back, and Lucius was forced to toe the line, that things became difficult for the family.
