I realised after posting that I didn't phrase my comment very well - Walden Media still have the rights but Disney just not going to back it.

Here's hoping for a Christmas miracle and that the movie is made!

(The cast are just the most adorable people ever :)

Maybe the next installments would actually do better without Disney? If another financier picks it up, I'm kinda hoping it would maybe suffer less from commercialisation and have a freer rein. I loved the first two, don't get me wrong, but I'd like to see the darkness and complexity come in for the others, especially if they ever got to The Last Battle,.

It was really shitty of them to make this commitment then quit after 2 movies. I really liked LWW and thought PC was better than the book.

Sad. :(

I know :( Bastards. They're both great movies.

(And when I think how shitty the Harry Potter movies are, yet they keep making them... I know HP will make them buttloads of cash but the Narnia series still did pretty well and are infinitely better than HP or Twilight and just argh.)
