I know. I like it, but a lot of anime fans I know can't get past that it's a SPOOF. They take offense to it, as if anime was srs bsnss.

But don't you realize what it does? It totally copies the fine art that is anime, acting like it's just some cartoon. It mocks it!

Inorite! Anime isn't just some stupid Japanese Spongebob.
It's a large assortment of various drawings and frames and backgrounds, all put together to make a usually 20-something minute long visual art!
It's NOTHING like lame Western cartoons. They should be ashamed.

[Honestly, I should troll my KM-hating friends by saying Tezuka mocks Western animation, seeing as anime all goes back to him being inspired by Disney films.]

I know! Western cartoons aren't deep like anime. I mean, ugh. Anime is always, always deep and just so much more than a cartoon!
