I can't understand how Ravus/Ignis didn't pick up more steam after Ep. Ignis. Like holy shit, that snark. And I really feel like they'd have this high-key mental dance around each other that would intrigue them both in a way that they both kind of need, and can't really get anywhere else. Once it got physical, it'd be explosive. So good.

Also while Ardyn/Verstael caught on enough for me to be pleased, I'm really aching for it to be explored in a way more fucked up way? Like, these men are monsters. They use each other and ruin each other's lives in such intimate ways, all with this underlying appreciation that the other at least gets it. It's delicious.

RIGHT? I'd never even considered it before Episode Ignis but holy shit the sparks were flying in that ep. It had just the right balance of banter and snark and antagonism but also genuine camaraderie to make it extremely hot.

Exactly this!! Plus that slightly tragic angle of like... Ravus wasn't a bad guy, and it wasn't even that he particularly agreed with what the Empire was doing, but allying himself with the Empire was the #1 way to stand against Regis, who so utterly let him down and hurt him. And with Ignis being so loyal to the crown, the whole thing feels very star-crossed. hnnnnnnngh I love it.

I'm usually a diehard IgNoct shipper (which wasn't helped by episode Ignis either haha) but yeah, I totally accepted Ravus/Ignis as a very much valid sideship after that as well.
