you get me! it's used as synonym for uber-love and not like a life-crippling identity dependancy OR it's like a term for a couple who has like way too many in-jokes that they don't share with anyone else lmao.

I GET YOU!!

yeah it's like everyone uses the term but completely ignores what it actually means and the horrible, toxic behavior it denotes. instead it's held up as this kind of ideal and treated as romantic when it really is anything but. tbh i wouldn't even consider co-dependency love, it's unhealthy mutual possession more than anything and requires years of extensive therapy to break.

but instead fandom treats it like uwu love.
