Congrats on the timing there.

As for the secret, part of the reason I never even bothered with Brotherhood or the manga was that the two of them allegedly were far less intense than the 03 anime, haha.

October 3rd is FMA day (aka the day Ed and Al burned down their house and left Resembool). Since today is the last day with this week's secrets, the timing i salmost perfect.

You, uh, you should definitely check out the manga or Brotherhood. No spoilers, but things get plenty fucking intense.

The other part of why I never got into it was that I read the early volumes of the manga and the tone was so completely off compared to everything that made me love the 03 anime. It isn't that I think it's bad, but it clearly wasn't the same story I fell in love with.
