You’re not alone here ! Okami is one of my favorite games ever (i was mostly unspoiled about it back then... a delightful discovery). I played it, loved the heck out of it and actually finished it (not 100% but I got to new game+ and stuff). And I could replay it for a long time without feeling sick of it... which is rare.

It actually encouraged me to play other adventure games again, some Zelda titles included (which I never could finish in the end... Twilight Princess had some Okami vibes but some horse riding/fighting part made me ragequit, Skyward Sword was nice-ish *the sky area was mostly boring/empty tho* but i gave up at the pirate ship part... and BotW really had potential but was too repetitive/didn’t have enough variety and it was hard to stay motivated in the end... hopefully the next game greatly improves on the new BotW formula).

I also tried to finish Link’s Awakening, which was one of the very first games I got as a kid.... buuut my old Gameboy glitched and I still couldn’t finish the Switch remake (a friend lent it to me and I eventually had to return it). It’s like I’m cursed to never finish certain childhood games (this, Rayman 2 and the Spyro trilogy... and I really loved playing the later... still could never beat any of the final bosses 😅).
