Spoilers for Digimon Kizuna

I got my copy in the mail and just finished watching it and I really don't know how I feel about it. Tai and Matt having to say goodbye to Agumon and Gabumon legit crushed me and I was blubbering like a baby, but it's hinted that they're gonna meet again, so I thought it was a good ending. Then I read that apparently the 02 ending is still canon and that made me feel unsatisfied with the ending because we don't see them getting reunited with their Digimon. I guess they did that in case they wanted to make another movie with maybe the 02 kids finding a way to keep their Digimon. Still, I would've loved to see an older Tai meeting up with Agumon during the picture montage at the end just to give me more closure if they don't make another movie.
