I hated the ending of Purple Rose of Cairo so much that even though I liked the rest of the movie, I'm never watching it again. Very shortened version: Mia Farrow's character is in a love triangle of sorts between this movie within a movie character who steps out of the movie he's in to be with her and the actor who plays this character. She has to decide which one to have a relationship with, the actor or the character. She picks the actor, which turns out to be a mistake because he was just pretending to be in love with her in order to get the character to go back into the movie. The actor dumps her and she GOES BACK TO HER ABUSIVE HUSBAND! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCK!
