Why do I sound like I'm describing a household appliance?

These are great! I agree. Independence is really great in a partner. It's no good if they rely on you for everything or if you rely on them for everything. It's best when you lend each other strength and shore up each other's weaknesses.

Yes! I definitely agree. I like my alone time and time with my own friends or doing my own hobbies, too. They must have interests outside of being with me. An equal partner is good. Becoming a single two-headed entity or someone's second mother is not desirable.

My first boyfriend was jealous of how much time I spent with my pet. MY PET. Lmao. It was not a long relationship.

I have an ex like that, too. It's so weird to me, because when I'm dating someone, it makes me happy when they have things in their lives that make them happy...? I don't get being possessive about stuff like that.

If a guy really, sincerely cares about women's rights and equality, that’s extremely attractive. This one really ought to fall under “compassion” but a lot of otherwise nice dudes fail at compassion when it comes to gender relations, so it’s getting its own bullet point.

Very tall with a sharp jawline is also extremely nice. :P

Sensible, smart, nice laugh

Physical: beautiful eyes, athletic but wiry builds, pretty hair

Non-physical: quiet competence, reliability and a sense of humor

Hard to say because different people have different qualities about them that are attractive to me. You can find competence praiseworthy in one person but eye-rollingly cringe in another person depending on how they go about displaying it and how they feel about having it vs. others that don't, you know? So then it's hard to say I like competence because I don't, necessarily...

Easier to say that the biggest three minimum requirements would be certain levels of intelligence, practicality, and imagination, because without those I'm not attracted at all

because without those I'm not attracted at all, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll find those traits inherently attractive in others. More like qualifiers lol

Physically i'm attracted to white guys with dark hair and dark eyes, and girls of every race with dark hair and either blue or brown eyes.

The non-physical things i'm most attracted to are intelligence and kindness.

Sense of humour, understanding, and honesty.
