I've recently been made aware that I have a lot more power than previously thought, having been under the impression for years that I had little to no control but apparently that isn't true at all. There are people in my life that very much believe I am worth more than what I thought I was worth and it's amazing how small tweaks in my demeanor can completely change certain events and situations.

It's really important, especially these days, to actively encourage other people. Small gestures letting them know that you think they are doing a good job can mean the world.
