your misfire was beautiful btw. added some interesting context above.

but yeah there's that, and then there's the flip side - where having not experienced it, they go off on everyone else's descriptions so that everything is painful and awful and has to be done in a certain order.

if they don't like it they don't like it, that's fair, but trying to write how it feels without having experienced the sensations is...well, it's not impossible, lort knows there's been plenty of virgins writing hot het smut before, but at some point it ceases to be hot when it's obviously the same misinformation being repeated from author to author. both flowery and painful ends of the spectrum.
