114. LOL, chill bb, Lois was never all that in the comics. I actually never liked her in canon (she's shallow; she didn't like Clark, she liked Superman), so Lois in Smallville isn't half bad to me. It really bothers me that canon purists get all pissed when Smallville characters have flaws and do immoral things. They're human, or they were raised by humans, so here, have some realism. It's good for you.

123. Just watch it. I love that it doesn't take itself too seriously, and neither should you. It's really not that big a deal.

148. It's not that YOU don't like the females on SPN. It's that the writers write such shitty females, with the exception of Bela, maybe. And the ones that are good are only around for one episode. God forbid they shatter any of the fangirls' visions of Jared/Jensen by giving them normal, challenging relationships.
149. I love Chuck, but I agree that he needs to be punched in the face. As for Dan/Blair? I might like seeing it, for a short time, but they're not a good match for the long term.

I'm actually not a canon purist, far from it. I realize that every character has flaws and makes mistakes. Doesn't mean I have to like it, and it doesn't mean that it's good storytelling, which is what I thought was the point of a television show. To tell a decent story.

Well, it does happen sometimes. XD It'd be less realistic if people did nothing wrong ever. And no, you don't have to like it, but it's not necessarily bad storytelling just because you don't like it. *shrug* Again, I don't like Lois in canon, so it'd be a little hard for Smallville to make me like her less.

Anyway, I think this season's better the last two, but you can't take Smallville too seriously at this point -- I don't know anyone who still does.

I definitely stopped taking it seriously a while ago. I don't even know how it's still on the air, every character is being destroyed in some way, shape, or form. I was just pointing out the fact that they're turning a well known character (who a lot of people think of as a strong, determined hard-working woman) into a total joke.

I could say they're doing the same thing with Clark (minus the woman part, duh), but that's a secret for different day.

What makes him unlikable? I'm curious, cause it seems like everyone who meets him goes on and on about how nice he is to everyone.

Heh, sorry, I'm not really up on the SPN fandom ettiquette, I don't care about real person fandom. I'm sure Jared's perfectly nice; it's his character Sam I don't like anymore. He used to be dorky and adorable and sweet and a counterbalance to Dean; now he's pissy and kind of a dick. Just my opinion -- I know losing Dean affected him, but to me it didn't affect him in an IC way.
