Oh god, word. I appriciate the work the scanlators are doing, and they're entitled to translating whatever strip they want, but... I am really tired off getting gag strip after gag strip and America after America. And that's when we do get scanlations.

It's tiring. I know we don't really have the right to complain since they do it for free, just out of sheer love for Hetalia, but personally, the gag strips are making me lose all the interest I initially had. Well, that, and I really dislike America *legasp!*

Word, man. I got into this series through the 'Cleaning out the storage', 'Bloody Sunday 1905' and 'Polish-Swedish Wars' strips, which are all heavily based on history. So I really am disappointed when all we get these days is just silly little stuff ~~of course that doesn't count when it's characters we never see, like the Asians bar Japan and Spain and S. Italy~~. Oh well, I'm still loving the new material.

Yeah, me too. I wish I knew more Japanese than I do because I'd at least be able to help scanlate things on a regular basis (hooray for having no life!) and I'm pretty sick of seeing America so much.

Speaking of, the guy kind of...I don't know how to put it in a way nicer than 'annoys me right the fuck off'.

Whoa, that's exactly what I say D: I have so much free time these summmer holidays (lmao, Aussie here) that I could probably scanlate the entire site. ...If I actually knew more than just 'classroom Japanese'.

Maybe it's because I don't have the privilege of being fully American to see the glory of the character, but I was just never that into the him in the first place. ~~Plus the sheer amount of America fanworks (and scanlations) is just really, really annoying. Totally put me off of him. But once again, people are entitled to favorites :|~~

Ah, lucky you! I'm...uh...well, unemployed at the moment and going through some stuff, so I tend to be home most of the time and I need things to do.

Ahahah, I'm "fully American" seeing as I was born here, but yeah, still not seeing the glory of the character either. I don't begrudge him his popularity, though; people will like what they like as you've said.

I'm only half American, and he's the only character I can relate to with heritage, but...eh. Just wish there was less of him.

I actually love Alfred, but I can see your point. Other characters could use the spotlight too - like the Baltic states and Russia's sisters. <3
