So we have this character who, over the course of one film, goes from "fuck this shit, gonna get the hell outta dodge in an escape pod" to "literally gonna fly my ass straight into a missile for the resistance".

And y'all see this as a shitty subplot.

Yeah seriously. Reiterating his storyline from TFA, making him into a hero and setting him up for a big story in TROS (that turned into him running around and yelling "Rey" a lot). TLJ haters are something else.

TLJ haters also seem to despise the magnificent Rey and Luke and Kylo plot (in fact that often seems to be their main problem with it) so what can you even say to them

I love Finn's arc in TLJ (his corresponding lack of any kind of character growth is one of the major reasons I despise TRoS), so I just kind of have to sigh every time it gets brought up like this. Especially by John.
