(Anonymous) 2020-10-09 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)If you don't mind shows that are slightly more sci-fi than fantasy both Star Trek Voyager and Stargate SG-1 have the same sense of adventure, overcoming challenges, kick-ass women and light hearted humour that Buffy had.
And lastly, the show that I will always recommend as a light-hearted adventure show is The Avengers (Steed/Peel era from the 60's).
Two secret agents - an older English gentleman and his younger female partner - solve strange mysteries and defeat diabolical masterminds. He's full of charm and street smarts, she has the brightest mind and also knows kung fu. Together they are unbeatable.
