Agreed! It was the first version that i saw and it'll always have a space in my heart.
I remember being bullied in an oldschool Youtube comment section (a few years after it came out) for liking the dub and not knowing that the movie was considered a shitshow by a lot of fans.

I thought it was goofy and fun? And that the 'true versions' didn't pair well alongside the incredibly zany the show.

I agree that it could have been handled much better but what we got isn't the garbage fire that people love to call it.

I love this movie, bad jokes and all. It’s my ultimate comfort movie and IDGAF what people say about it, but I have noticed that people seem to have softened up in their opinion regarding it and not that many consider it a steaming pile of garbage anymore (or maybe they just don’t care enough to comment). I do think it would have been better without Hurricane Touchdown being shoved in there. I always skipped over the third part whenever I rewatched it. And they definitely shouldn’t have had that stupid Angela Anaconda short before it.

I never understood why people would say that the 02 section of the film was unnecessary and caused problems. I always assumed that it was just because people disliked the 02 kids.
And then i learned that the dub added the Willis connection to Wargame and that Dioboromon was created by viruses and had nothing to do with Cocomon.

Fuck the 02 section.

I remember watching this in sixth form and I couldn't believe how awesome the soundtrack was. I already loved Digimon but this movie had my heart from go.
