Aren't you just remembering Fan BingBing's case wrong? (the highest paid Chinese actress exposed for signing illegal contracts under the table to avoid salary limits and made to public apologise and disappear from the public for half a year?) Because that was still horrible and "informative" about the country, but in no way related to her saying something agianst teh government. Or was there something else?
