I take it you never heard of the House of FFVII/FFVII Cult and the Sephiroth wives that predate snapewives.

They make snapewives look tame.

It seems like every time someone takes fandom way too far someone else takes it as a challenge.

Lmao but you're right

I was trying to remember the name of this one! FF7 house is legendary in it's absolute awfulness. Every so often I'll watch the Down the Rabbit Hole video about it.

It never ceases to be as fucked up as the first time I heard about it.

Oh man. I remember WAY WAY long ago (like 20 years at this point), seeing a post on the fandomwank LJ about Snapewives or pastede on yey or something and someone in the comments offhandedly referenced the Sephiroth cult, and linked to a fanpage that was just a midi version of One-Winged Angel over and over and over as the Geocities-style page zoomed in endlessly on 8-bit art of Sephiroth.

That is burned in to my brain, since the link caught me so heavily off guard. It was a pre-Rickroll era Rickroll.

Thanks for the laugh, anon XD

This is hysterical to picture. Some of those prank pages were amazing back in the day.
