Late reply, but the book was going to be about how she supposedly wrote My Immortal to somehow locate her brother who she has been separated from in foster care. The brother then showed up and refuted all of her claims about him and their family (she was even lying about her name and race, pretending to be native American). While the brother didn't know about My Immortal, all the "evidence" she had for it turned out to be unsubstantial or faked (like she had an "alternate account" with Tara's username, but it turned out it was just an old account that she had recently changed the username and details of to match Tara's, or something of the sorts). If you look to Rose Christo / Theresa Christodopolous (her real name) the whole saga should come up.
