That sounds awesome!
I saw this cool vid about planting daffodils, crocus, etc. - a way to make your yard look like a flowering meadow. In the vid, they tossed up a couple/three handfuls of golf balls, just randomly, and everywhere they fell, they planted a bulb. Did this all over the yard, and in spring it was just starred with flowers. They were over blooming by the time the yard was getting long, so they could be easily mowed - it was a neat effect!

AYRT--I've never heard of using golf balls; I just chuck the bulbs, heh. It doesn't hurt them when they're dormant.

I don't have a lawn, but I'm planning to plant a bunch of these in the park strip and side yard and overseed with flowers and native plants.

I guess the gold balls were easier to see on a lawn than the bulbs.
