I accidentally started a purge once. I pointed out that the new rule against “pedophile porn,” as written, would apply against Lolita. Fast Eddie said Lolita was pedophile porn and only pedophiles ever talked about it. Then he deleted the page, along with every page on the Hentai index, up to and including Fate Stay Night. At least twenty people either left or were banned in the ensuing flame war.

During the purge, someone deleted the page for https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotte_no_Omocha! on the grounds that it was “pedophile porn.” Someone said he’d read it, and it wasn’t porn. The mod banned him for being a “pedophile.” So I flipped out, raged at the mod, and got banned as well. (The page is still gone.)
