If you live in Canada, there's a site called FadedPage that posts books that are in the public domain in Canada but not in the US, so you might be able to find some new books there. Of course, if you don't live in Canada, the books might not be in the public domain where you live. They don't have any way of checking but I assume you'll do the right thing.
