101 - Eh, so what if someone is not "devoted" enought? Fandom is not a job or a religion.

114 - So, have you finished the giant robot yet? :D Ahaha, I love him. I don't know how Americans see him but for me he's how I've always imagined the USA. In fact, I could tell he was the USA by first glance and not just by his uniform.

129 - I also prefer the anime to the manga but... y'know, people have different opinions and stuff? I don't like people bashing the anime, which is why I ignore it when I see it (most of the time).

Having a different opinion is not the same as being a pompous, judgmental asshole. People agreeing to disagree and sticking to what they like? Awesome. People bashing on the anime, and saying (or at least implying) that anime fans are shallow idiots who have no grasp of plot cohesion and good storytelling? Not so awesome. That's what gets to me, and it's pretty difficult to ignore.

I know, but on the other hand there's no point in trying to argue with, or getting upset over pompous, judgemental assholes. I also have hot buttons but I think there's a point over which you're much better off ignoring what you don't like instead of getting upset. I mean, there's no use trying to argue with people who have their blinders firmly in place and are unwilling to remove them.
