Personal blogs are where people come together and realise that no, they're not alone feeling this, that if they try to do something about it they WON'T be alone and ineffective. A personal journal is where the Aang Ain't White letter writing campain originated. One does not exclude the other. Please stop pretending it does while the evidence is staring you right in the face.
Who ever said it was only personal blogs where people talk about this, anyway? Take a look at the Aang Ain't White community and you'll see that at least a dozen major anti-racism and ethnic awareness blogs, forums, communities and organisations have been contacted.
If the build-up, context and aftermath annoy you so much, just ignore it. Now your complaining will only either discourage people from doing ANYTHING, or wind them up even more, which means you'll have to put up with even MORE "whining" on you f-list.
