If it means anything, another anon commenter who has played the game mentioned that this is Terra before 'World of Ruin', so...?

Idk, I think it's too soon to call Dissidia a fail game.

TBH, my memories of FF VI is kinda hazy, since it's been years since I played the game. But yeah, I think I have a vague memory of Terra being a little bit more insecure before the world went under. So there might still be hope she'll turn out better...

By no means am I calling Dissidia a fail game, it's just the portrayal of a female character as meek and crouching behind the male characters that get to me.

I...seriously agree with that. Still, this is an old FF game with an old FF character--it irks me, but, as the women's movement in Japan is still pretty slow-going...>_
