I am so. So. SO. Sick of seeing people's experiences being diminished by claiming that they have something to do with "political correctness." It's dismissive and obtuse. People do not dislike it because it's "politically incorrect." They do not get offended because they're trying to be "politically correct." They are offended by something they personally find, for whatever reason, offensive. Agree with them, disagree with them, argue with them, I don't care. But please don't belittle other people's experiences as something so shallow.
I swear, I would be the happiest person in the whole world if the term "politically correct" spontaneous disappeared from both vocabulary and consciousness.
