But fandom on lj in general is very female-dominated. I'm pretty sure females are a majority on lj, period.

I mean, it IS weird. I'm an FtM, even, and relatively used to being surrounded by women; but every fandom on lj feels like a giant girls' slumber party. He's totally entitled to feel weird.

But if it bothers him, well, why not find another forum? Why female-dominated lj? Eh.

I agree with you, but I don't think that the people against the fandom are helping their case with all the personal attacks. I mean, saying you judge a person based on their fandom? That's pretty damn offensive. Not that the whining from the other side is much better, but still.

I just wish people could keep this shit remotely civil so there's a chance that this will all die down and people will start agreeing to disagree.
