Did you hear about the 474 that crashed in a cemetary in Poland? So far authorities have found over 2,000 bodies.

The Fish and Game Commission wanted to develop a fish that
would offer more for their sportsmen so they crossed a Coho with a
Walleye and called it a Kowal. It grew to a nice size and reproduced
well but it wouldn't bite. They crossed the Kowal with a Muskie and
called it a Kowalski but they were so stupid they had to teach them
how to swim.

Q: How did the Germans conquer Poland so fast?
A: They marched in backwards and the Polish thought they were leaving.

Why wasn't Christ born in Poland?
Because they couldn't find three wisemen and a virgin.

I'm half Polish. We tell lots of Polish jokes in my family. =) The Kowalski joke is my favorite.

I'm part Polish (rather obviously - my last name is blatantly Polish), so I heard TONS growing up. People heard my name and went, "LOL SO I KNOW THIS POLISH JOKE WANNA HEAR IT?!" (Oh, and once I had a real asshole of a junior high school vice-principal who butchered my name so badly at the school awards ceremony that even I didn't recognise it when he read it out - despite all my experience with people's efforts to say it. So I had to line up afterward at the office to pick up my award for making the honor roll three years in a row. And the same guy stopped by to ask if I'm Polish because, "Only the Polish spell their names so stupidly!" Good times.)

Most of them were terribly repetitive (like blonde jokes), but this particular one has always stuck with me (I sure hope this isn't the one from Avenue Q, since I haven't seen that):


A man walks into a bar. He goes up to the bartender and says, "Hey, do you want to hear this great Polish joke?"

The bartender - who happens to be a very large man - slowly sets down the glass he's wiping and glares over the bar at the man. "What did you say?"

"I said, do you want to hear this great Polish joke I just heard?"

"Buddy. Look. I'm Polish. See those two big guys down the bar there? Those are the Kowalski brothers. Do you still want to tell that Polish joke?"

"Nah," says the guy. "I don't want to have to explain it three times."
