144 - lol, I don't even watch/read Hellsing but I still find this secret particularly unnerving. I'm sick of the "fandom equals shipping" mentality - I mean, I ship too, but if I look at my favorite fandoms, shipping never came first; I got captivated for the overall impression I got from canon. Shipping is not necessary to appreciate anything. It's the icing, not the cake.

That sentiment is fine, but that's certainly not the same attitude that your secret had. Your opinion isn't universal. Just because it's the only thing that interests you anymore, doesn't mean people are at fault and tasteless for not feeling the same. /:
